1 Dead After Bridge Collapse in France

At least one person died after a bridge collapsed across a river in southern France, Monday, November 18.

Rescuers were quickly called to the scene after the suspended bridge collapsed. Authorities said a 15-year-old died, while the mother of the victim was rescued by civilians.

Authorities were said to be looking for more survivors, including the driver of a truck that was thought to be on the bridge when it collapsed. Authorities also suspect a third vehicle was on the bridge at the time of the collapse as well. (REUTERS)
