This 93-year-old was charged with attempted murder after footage showed him shooting a maintenance worker over water damage in his apartment.

In US news and current events today, on the morning of Jan 2, 2020, 93-year-old Robert Thomas entered the management office at his apartment complex with a gun in Las Vegas. As Thomas spoke with a maintenance worker, a woman employee secretly called 911 and contacted police. Thomas allowed the woman to leave, and then fired a shot toward the wall. Thomas fired again, this time at the maintenance worker, grazing him with a bullet. Thomas then shot at the man a second time, as police arrived and ordered him to drop the gun.

A police officer fired a single shot, shattering the glass office door. Thomas put down his weapon and police took him in to custody. The maintenance worker was treated and released the same day with non-life-threatening injuries. Thomas was not harmed by the shot fired by police. He is being charged with attempted murder with a deadly weapon among other charges.

The shocking events of the 93-year-old shooting the apartment worker were all caught on the apartment's security camera footage.
