Bridge collapses 6 hours after opening

An official in a Saskatchewan community where a bridge collapsed says a geotechnical study of a riverbed wasn't done before the structure was built in the rural municipality of Clayton. Reeve Duane Hicks initially told CBC the geotech work wasn't done because it's not possible to do that work under the river.
