#Russia’s missile defence systems intercepted aerial targets as the ‘#Centre2019’ military #drills continued on Tuesday at the Ashuluk testing range in Astrakhan region.

According to Russia’s Ministry of Defence, more than 80 targets were intercepted, including strike drones, cruise and ballistic missiles.

Russia’s S-300 Favorit and S-400 Triumph air defence systems, as well as the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft system were involved in the drills, in addition to MiG-31, Su-27 and Su-35S fighter jets.

Around 128,000 troops from eight countries will take part at the Centre 2019 drills, which run from 16 to 21 September in 17 different locations.
