China's Chang'e-4 lunar probe made up of a lander and a rover was awakened by sunlight by Wednesday after its first night on the far side of the Moon.

China National Space Administration (CNSA) said Thursday that the lander was awakened at 20:39 Wednesday Beijing Time and the rover Yutu-2 (Jade Rabbit-2) at 20:00 Tuesday.!language=1
