Giant skulls, skeleton floats & Catrinas: Day of the Dead parade in Mexico City

More than 3,000 artists, jugglers, acrobats and puppets with striking costumes and face paint paraded to the rhythm of Mexican traditional music despite the heavy rain, in the day that sees Mexican families gathering to pray and remember friends and family members who have died. According to the tradition, families offer food, drinks, and prayers to their spirits who come back to celebrate life with the living world.
