Speaking to reporters in Ottawa Tuesday, Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale outlined the steps his government was already undertaking to address gun violence both in Toronto, ON and across Canada.

This follows a weekend of shooting in Toronto as well as two mass shootings in the United States which has put a renewed focus on the gun control debate on both sides of the border.

Goodale also said the government of Canada is "concerned" about white supremacists committing acts of terror both in Canada and abroad.

Finally, the minister assured Canadians that the RCMP is leaving "no stone unturned" in the search for two men wanted in connection with three murders in BC, but admitted there was no new information to report at this time.
