Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Seyyed Abbas Mousavi that the country does not see "any prospect for negotiations" with the US, speaking during a press conference in Tehran on Tuesday.

Mousavi said that Iran was in negotiations with the US within the framework defined by the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) also known as the nuclear deal, adding that "this deal was broken by their (US) illegal withdrawal."

The spokesperson also criticised Europe for not being fully committed to the implementation of the Iran nuclear deal, adding that Iran is "ready to talk with all regional states in order to have a stable and safe region."

On May 8 Tehran announced its partial withdrawal from the deal, one year after the US withdrawal in 2018.
