One lucky Lego fan forked out €65,000 (US$73,700) to buy a life-sized Renault F1 car made of Lego during an auction in Paris on Sunday.

The collaboration between Renault and Lego saw 313,000 Lego bricks built onto a metal frame atop four Pirelli F1 tyres in 2017, as a celebration of Renault's 40th anniversary of involvement in Formula 1. It also features a replica steering wheel.

All proceeds of the sale will be donated to UNICEF.
