President-elect of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen is delivering a 'State of Europe' address at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Berlin on Friday, November 8. Her speech will follow an introduction by German Chancellor Angela Merkel. During her visit to Berlin, Von der Leyen reinforced her efforts on a proposal for a new migration pact. The Konrad Adenauer Foundations is a political party foundation associated to Merkel’s party, the Christian Democratic Union (CDU).
