UK Prime Minister Theresa May is facing questions from Members of Parliament in the House of Commons in London on Wednesday, December 19.

In a statement to UK Parliament on Monday, Theresa May said that the parliament would not be able to vote on her Brexit deal with the EU until the week of January 14. The announcement sparked a call for a vote of no confidence against her by the Labour party.

On Tuesday, cabinet ministers approved a £2bn package to support government departments in case UK leaves the EU on 29 March without a formal agreement.
