UK Prime Minister Theresa May is arriving at the European Council in Brussels on Tuesday, December 11 to meet European Union Council President Donald Tusk to hold Brexit talks.

The British PM is seeking more concessions from the EU on the Brexit deal, a day after postponing a Commons vote on the agreement due to "widespread and deep concern" about the backstop arrangements for Northern Ireland.

Earlier on Tuesday, May had already met with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte in The Hague and with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin, while European Commission President Juncker had already denied the possibility for any renegotiation on the agreement already reached between the UK and the EU.‚Äč
