According to a report by Digital Trends, China's Chang'e 4 rover has been spotted by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera, which has captured images of the Chinese craft perched on the floor of the Von Karman crater. The LROC is reportedly a system of three narrow-angle cameras that take high-resolution black and white images, and is a part of the suite of instruments on the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. Digital Trends reports that the LRO craft is currently in orbit around the moon, gathering mapping data to identify safe landing zones for other craft and to identify potentially useful resources.
