The Greek government is introducing a new law that will make it more difficult for migrants and refugees to claim asylum in the country.

It seeks to weed out economic migrants but human rights groups say the law fails to comply with European standards.

But the government says it is inundated with asylum requests and its European partners have not stepped in to help in practical ways.
