At least one person died and several were injured after a 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck an area of about 6 kilometres (3.7 miles) in Davao del Sur province on Sunday.
During the quake, a three-story building collapsed trapping several people under it. According to media reports, the victim was a six-year-old girl who died after a wall fell on her.
Footage shows rescue teams and firefighters working on the scene and bulldozers removing debris from the street.
Located in the Pacific Circle of Fire, the Philippines often suffers from earthquakes.
