Over 2,000 soldiers from the Polish and allied armed forces marched through Warsaw on Friday, to mark the May 3rd Constitution Day. The event also celebrated the 20th anniversary of Poland’s joining NATO and the 15th anniversary of the country’s membership of the European Union, both of which are marked this year.
Under the banner "Strong Through Alliances," the military parade began with the anthems of Poland, the EU and NATO, and had reportedly more than 200 vehicles and around 80 aircraft featuring as part of the event.
Footage shows a big crowd gathering to watch the march and the air shows. Uniformed services such as the Police, Border Guard, State Fire Service, Railroad Guards and State Protection Bureau, were also present.
