During an Aug. 8 press conference in Surrey, B.C., Canada's Minister of Border Security and Organized Crime Reduction Bill Blair praised the RCMP in their efforts on the national manhunt, tracking down two fugitives suspected in the northern B.C. murders of three people.
The RCMP's manhunt for Kam MacLeod and Bryer Schmegelsky is now over, as authorities believe they have located their bodies. Blair said that he is "proud" of their "enormous work."
He also commented on the RCMP's new forensic laboratory, which he toured prior to the press conference, and on the issue of gun control.
