InfoWars’ Kaitlin Bennett did her best to provoke an incident at an Iowa Pride event but this cop wasn’t having it. Ana Kasparian, Dan Evans, and Steve Bramucci, hosts of The Young Turks, break it down. MORE TYT: https://tyt.com/trial
“Another video of the infamous “Kent State gun girl” Kaitlin Bennett has gone viral after a police officer got fed up with her causing problems for everybody at an Iowa Pride event. Bennett was there to “interview” people for the Alex Jones conspiracy mill InfoWars, possibly about the location of tampons, and soon had a number of complaints lodged against her by Pride-goers just trying to enjoy themselves without having a camera shoved in their faces.
The cop’s advice? Leave everybody alone.
“Here is what I believe is taking place,” he says. “Because you’re hanging this microphone in my face, because you’re playing these silly games…”
Bennett interrupts him, saying he’s “supposed to uphold the law.” It’s unclear how he’s not doing that.
It’s then revealed that the officer wanted to take Bennett’s camera in order to investigate the complaints against her, as well as some “crime” that she said had taken place, and she and the man with her accused him of trying to “confiscate our property.”
