The Russian Air Force held rehearsals in Moscow on Monday, ahead of the traditional Victory Day parade which will take place on May 9 in the Russian capital amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

Footage shows jets flying over Red Square, leaving a trail in the form of the Russian Tricolor.

210 military aircraft will participate in the upcoming air parade, including both jets and helicopters. On May 5 and 6, Air Force aerobatic groups will hold additional air show rehearsals, according to the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that events for the 75th Victory Day parade will be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but that an air show and fireworks would still be held.
