At least 10,000 people are working around the clock to build five temporary emergency hospitals for COVID-19 patients in Moscow.
The temporary medical facilities are being set up at the Krylatskoye Ice Palace, VDNKh and Sokolniki parks, Moskva shopping mall, and at exhibition and trade centre Crocus.
Once the hospitals are ready, they will have 10,000 extra beds for coronavirus patients.
According to Russia's coronavirus response centre, on Tuesday Moscow recorded 5,714 new coronavirus cases. In total, more than 80,000 COVID-19 cases have been registered in the Russian capital.
