Russia’s latest cruise missile corvette, the Orekhovo-Zuevo, arrived at the Russian Navy’s Black Sea Fleet base in Sevastopol from Novorossiysk on Friday, after successfully completing state sea trials.

A ceremony in which the naval flag is raised will be held in the city later this month.

The Orekhovo-Zuevo is the seventh Buyan-M class corvette in the fleet. Its armaments include Kalibr-NK missiles, a Duet double-barrelled 30 mm weapon system and a 100mm A-190 artillery system. Ships of this class have seen action in Syria.
