Russia: Putin and Maduro hold talks in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed his Venezuelan counterpart Niholas Maduro at the Novo-Ogaryovo residence in the Moscow Region on Wednesday.

"We approve of your efforts to achieve a mutual understanding in the society, all of your actions trying to settle the situation with the [Venezuelan] opposition," Putin told Maduro.

"I am sure that results of our meeting will be good news for the economic cooperation of our countries," the Venezuelan said leader on his turn stated.
