Saudi Arabia hosted on Monday a meeting for the signing of the Charter of the Council of Arab and African Coastal States of the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden in its capital city Riyadh to overlook the political, economic and security issues of the region.

Egypt, Sudan, Yemen, Djibouti, Somalia, Jordan and Eritrea are members of the new alliance. Foreign ministers of these countries attended the signing ceremony.!language=1
