Facing Atletico Madrid is one of the most difficult undertakings for any football player, said Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp ahead of his side’s Tuesday clash against the Spanish team within the UEFA Champions League (UCL).

"Playing Atletico is one of the most difficult things in life of a football player. They are very good organised. A result machine. They squeeze the results out of pretty much every game if possible," said the Liverpool chief in a press briefing in Madrid on Monday.

The two teams will face off in Madrid’s Wanda Metropolitano stadium as part of the Champions League’s round of 16.
