A ceasefire brokered on Monday morning put an end to Palestinian-Israeli hostilities which had intensified over the weekend leaving building in rubbles in Gaza strip.
Buildings were struck down and residents were left displaced as Israeli airstrikes left Tal al-Air west of Gaza City in rubbles.
Footage shows the remains of an eight-story building after it was struck down by several Israeli missiles overnight.
"Three warning missiles were fired at the tower and residents were quickly evacuated," said a local who added the building was solely used for civilian purposes.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that ''over the last two days we struck Hamas and Islamic Jihad with great force. We hit over 350 targets. We struck at terrorist leaders and operatives and we destroyed terrorist buildings".
At least 25 Palestinians were killed in retaliatory Israeli airstrikes after Hamas targeted Israeli settlements with hundreds of missiles killing at least four.
