The third and last supermoon of 2019 shone its silvery light on Buenos Aires in the early hours of Thursday.

The Super Worm Equinox Moon, as it is known, coincides with the vernal spring equinox and marks the last super moon of 2019 after the Super Blood Moon Eclipse on January 21 and the Super Snow Moon on February 20.

The supermoon, known as the Pachal Full Moon or the Full Worm Moon, due to its proximity to Easter and a thawing in the weather, appeared bigger and brighter than ever over downtown in the Argentine capital.
