Sudan's protest leaders say more talks are planned with the military council to discuss the transfer of power to a civilian government.

Protesters in the capital Khartoum remain camped outside the army headquarters.

They are demanding an immediate handover of power to a civilian government and that all former officials be held to account for alleged corruption and lives lost during the three decades of al-Bashir’s rule.

Al Jazeera's Hiba Morgan reports from Khartoum.
