President Donald Trump's executive order bans firms in the United States from using telecommunications equipment from companies he says threaten national security.
Shortly after that order was issued Chinese giant Huawei was put on a trade blacklist.

It has urged its allies to refrain from using Huawei's equipment as 5G networks are rolled out globally.
