Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Malaysia to attend the Kuala Lumpur Summit, Wednesday, December 18.

Leaders from some of the world’s most populous Muslim-majority countries are set to meet in the Malaysian capital on Thursday.

Erdogan will meet with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani.

There also are some notable Muslim-majority countries not attending, such as the leaders from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia. (AFP)
