Ukraine's under-20 football team arrived home to a hero's welcome at Boryspil airport on Sunday.
Fans were waiting in their hundreds to celebrate the team's historic win over South Korea in the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup finals on Saturday, winning the title for the first time ever.
Eager fans surrounded the winning team, playing drums, cheering and taking pictures as the players held the trophy aloft and joined in with the celebrations.
Defender Efim Konoplya thanked the nation for its support during the tournament, dedicating the win to "all the families and friends who were always there".
The FIFA U20 World Cup is held every two years and is considered the most prestigious youth soccer tournament in the world. This year's World Cup took place in Poland, between May 23 and June 15.
