US President Donald Trump joked about having a 'Russian Room' in the White House, after Russia's Permanent Representative to the UNSC Vasily Nebenzya pointed out its absence, saying that 'China Room', in turn, exists. The comments were made at a luncheon with all permanent representatives to the UN Security Council, in Washington DC on Thursday.
"We saw the China Room, but we didn't see the Russian Room yet," said Nebenzya with Trump answering: "We'll take care of it."
The Russian representative then assumed that such a room must be "top secret" thus being hard to "discover."
Earlier on Thursday the US President joked about building a "Russian Room" in the White House.
