Venezuela's opposition leader Juan Guaido, who is recognized by multiple countries including Canada and the U.S. as acting president, spoke to thousands of supporters in Madrid, Spain on Saturday, Jan. 25 at the Puerta del Sol.

His attendance at the rally came after meeting the city's mayor and Spain's foreign minister as part of a European tour.

He told the crown that despite the cold weather in the capital, they could feel warmth "from the Caribbean, from all Venezuela."
