Rep. Doug Collins, the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, accused Democrats Tuesday, Sep. 17, 2019, of using congressional hearings as a way to make President Donald Trump look bad rather than as a way to gain meaningful information. “If you are just howling at the wind, you are not doing anything,” Collins said in opening statements during a hearing featuring former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski. Lewandoski played a key role in former special counsel Robert Mueller’s report that investigated possible evidence that Trump obstructed justice.
