Thousands of “yellow vest” demonstrators marched in Paris on Saturday for the 13th weekend. Reuters reports the demonstrators began protesting in mid-November over fuel taxes. The actions have since broadened to encompass general perceived mistreatment of the working class. The thousands of protestors on Saturday remained peaceful for the most part. There were some who threw objects at security forces, a scooter and a police van were set on fire, and some shop windows were smashed. The Interior Ministry said the number of protesters around France was at 12,000, including 4,000 in Paris.
